In 1991, Oregon Scientific Inc. became part of the IDT group (Integrated Display Technology), a company founded in 1977 by Mr Raymond Chan and today a multinational specialising in consumer electronics, which employs more than 7,000 people around the world.
In 1995 the entire Quality Management System of IDT obtained the ISO 9002 award. All the displayed products are compliant to the new CE law valid from 1/1/1996. This law states that all products not manufactured in Europe must comply with the requirement from the European Union regarding safety, environmental health and consumer protection.
